Our International Client is a leader in the Renewable Energy industry based in Cape Town. They have an opportunity for a COMMERCIAL MANAGER to join their EPC Team in the Northern Cape on a Fix Term Contract of minimum 12 months.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• B.Sc./B. Eng or B. Tech in Civil Engineering
• Project Management Qualification
• Minimum of 10 Years’ Experience
• Experience in Solar projects and managing multi-disciplinary projects that are complex in nature.
• Registered with ECSA as Professional Engineer or Technologist
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritising of workload with attention to detail;
• Computer literacy with good numeracy skill;
• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning;
• Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges;
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Duties & Responsibilities
• Development of financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for the short and long term
• Analysing the business performance, including the profitability, revenue, pricing and cost of goods sold
• Managing budgets, expenses and pricing and commercial arrangements
• Resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations
• Communicates with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly a contract's financial aspects
• Assesses risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation
• Manages daily company operations
