Upon appointment candidates will be required to carry out the following duties and have these characteristics: Key Requirements:

Ensures that food is delivered on time; asks for help if needed
Follows proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
Appropriately setting-up and preparing own working area and food items to ensure optimal working conditions
Preparing, setting and decorating dishes during services.
Ensuring readiness for the next day breakfast service by optimally stocking, preparing and cleaning equipment, store-rooms and work areas.
Providing efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble-free and proactive service to customers and colleagues, hence maximizing guest satisfaction.
Performing all tasks according to departmental guidelines, the departmental business plan service concepts.
Always visible in breakfast room and maintains buffet and assists guest

Previous experience in a similar position
Able to work in a team and individually
Able to work under pressure
Energetic individual
Knowledge of all sections of kitchen
No disciplinary on file for the past 6 months

Package:

R6000 - R7000 dependant on experience

Qualifications:

Must have a Diploma or adequate certificate
