We are now in search for a Commi Chef for a leading Property. This is the ideal opportunity for a junior chef who is looking at starting his/her career within a renowned establishment with fantastic opportunities for growth and development whilst learning after the guise of a master chef.

Upon appointment candidates will be required to carry out the following duties and have these characteristics:

Key Requirements:

Ensures that food is delivered on time; asks for help if needed
Follows proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
Appropriately setting-up and preparing own working area and food items to ensure optimal working conditions
Preparing, setting and decorating dishes during services.
Ensuring readiness for the next day breakfast service by optimally stocking, preparing and cleaning equipment, store-rooms and work areas.
Providing efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble-free and proactive service to customers and colleagues, hence maximizing guest satisfaction.
Performing all tasks according to departmental guidelines, the departmental business plan service concepts.
Always visibly working and maintain quality of food and assist guests.

Previous experience in a similar position
Able to work in a team and individually
Able to work under pressure
Energetic individual
Knowledge of all sections of kitchen
No disciplinary on file for the past 6 months
Able to communicate clearly

Package:

R 5500 dependant on experience
