This exclusive hotel now seeks a Commis Chef to work with the Executive chef and the kitchen team to maintain the highest quality of food in both preparation and presentation. This is an opportunity to work in all areas of the kitchen, as well as assist in menu ideas and stores maintenance. Knowledge of the latest food trends will serve you well in this position, as will a creative and passionate attitude. Applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar 5 star environment, as well as a Formal Culinary qualification from a recognized institution. They are looking for an ambitious chef, with good knife skills and a strong wine knowledge. Excellent listening and communication skills are essential, as are accuracy, maturity and dedication.
