Our client, a private further education college, is currently looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, committed, passionate and inspiring lecturer with sound knowledge of Communication Design. The candidate should have an impressive design portfolio and industry experience will be an advantage. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills are paramount.

Competencies

•Excellent design skills and conceptual ability.
•Knowledgeable of the latest trends and discourses in the field of Communication Design
•Knowledge and experience of the latest software required for Communication Design of which the Adobe suite is most notable
•Lecturing experience at a tertiary institution
•Research, organisational and mentoring skills

Qualifications

•Minimum requirement of a relevant Honours Degree OR a Degree with extensive industry experience

Key Performance Areas

•Lecturing theory and practical Communication Design to undergraduate and post-graduate students
•Interpretation and implementation of a curriculum
•Preparing course notes, keynote presentations and briefs
•Analyse and critique student work in an objective professional way based on justifiable standards
•Academic administration of allocated subjects
•Updating relevant study guides
•Identifying risk students, development and monitoring student progress
