Company in managed healthcare is looking for a experienced and qualified Communications Specialist to join their team.
This candidate will be delivering communication to various internal and external stakeholders through various communication platforms.

Responsibilities:

Negotiation with customers or suppliers over price, contracts or services

Project management of projects like AGM ( Annual Report & Year collateral )- must manage own work and contractors according to timelines
Drafting of internal or external newsletters, general articles or content for newspapers, journals, magazines or internet sites
Drafting of factual reports, presentations, procedure or policy documents or training material
Detailed verbal or written instructions or requests to employees or contractors
Detailed technical explanation of products, services or systems to internal or external customers or clients
Communication around escalated or difficult queries with customers or clients

Minimum Requirements:

Degree/Advanced Diploma – NQF level 7 (Communication/PR Degree/Diploma)
Communications/ PR/ Marketing experience essential
Medical aid experience a bonus
2 years minimum experience in the field
Own transport and valid license

Skills:

Computer skills and knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, Outlook and Internet
Exceptional Language skills in English and Afrikaans and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Ability of record keeping and documentation

Behavioral Skills:

Ability to work with people and be team player.
Strong sense of self-esteem and confidence
Flexibility in adapting to change and management decisions in order to achieve common goals.
