About the company:
Our client is an International Business Process Outsourcer that adds value to their clients by delivering contact centre solutions to transform business performance. They are currently seeking a Communications Specialist to support the business in ensuring that all employees receive timely, relevant and engaging communications.

Duties:
• Works closely with the communications team in creating a rolling communications plan for all operated Service Centres
• Ensures that key messages are relayed during briefings for operations teams
• Manages the operations intranet pages
• Takes responsibility for all broadcast messaging in the operation
• Approval processes for all communications prior to release
• Updates operations during major incidents and disruptions in a timely manner
• Manages the internal Communications Plans
• Drafts communications for distribution to internal and external audiences
• Communicates to management during incidents or unplanned events
• Maintains and manages the digital communications content
• Working with senior stakeholders to draft Leadership communications.
• Briefs and works with specialist communications agencies

Requirements:
• Matric (Essential)
• Relevant Degree/ Diploma (Essential)
• Postgraduate degree/NQF Equivalent in marketing and communications (Preferable)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a communications role (Essential)
• Experience in learning and communications platform management using Intranet / Internet content management systems to drive usage and maintain timely and relevant content (Essential)
• Experience of using and deploying digital communication tools (Essential)
• Experience in working with and briefing external agencies on communication plans (Preferable)
• Experience managing and creating content within SharePoint environments as the communications tool across the three sites (Desirable)
• Substantial internal communications experience in complex organisations (Essential)
• Experience of developing and implementing internal communications strategies and measuring their effectiveness (Essential)
• Experience of successfully managing complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders, from start to finish (Essential)
• Knowledge of communication tools and the best medium to deliver and embed people messages (Essential)
• HTML coding/ web-design (Preferable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Desirable)
