A luxury lodge in the Kruger National Park is currently recruiting for a Community Development Officer to ensure that the lodge has a successful community development programme, which is integrated into the lodge and has a positive impact on the local community.Responsibilities:
Facilitate funding partner development projects and guest support.

Oversee the community visit process and content.
Identify, implement, manage and monitor community development projects.
Complete and manage administration related to the community development projects.

Encourage staff commitment and involvement in community development projects.
Managing the employment of casual workers.
Data capturing of staff forms on the VIP system.
Provide ad hoc support to staff.
Facilitate the process of recruitment for junior positions.
Managing and completing of general HR administration.
Requirements:
Good English communication skills, as well as fluency in Shangaan/Tsonga
Grade 12
Code 8 driver’s license – a PDP would be to the applicants advantage
Knowledge of the local community
Computer Literate – particularly MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Strong administrative and presentation skills
Experience in mobilizing support – financial and other wise
Experience in a similar community based or teaching position
Patience and reliability
