This Karoshoek solar thermal power project in co-operation with the company SERATYPE will start recruiting in April 2018 for the Operations Maintenance phase and we are inviting candidates with relevant qualification and experience to apply for the below permanent position:

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
KAROS AREA

Requirements:
- Grade 12 with A+-/ N+ qualification with at least 3 years' experience in the maintenance of networks and computer systems
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Skills:
- Planning and organisational skills;
- Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities will include:
- Carry out any adjustments, controls and maintenance necessary to the systems installed on the office network, such that the document management and communications needs
are met.
- Weekly download of DCS data, as well as any facility log data that is required by operation for operating strategy forecasts.
- Guarantee the correct use and Operation of the IT equipment provided at the facility for O&M staff.
- Directly and actively participate in the preventive and corrective maintenance of the facility's IT systems.
- Reduce the costs of computer supplies.
- Guarantee the availability of information share by the departments through the common server.
- Ensuring the precision of data that is produced or reviewed.
- Punctual submission of reports.
- Guarantee the entry of feedback in SAP
