Duties and Responsibilities• To actively sell the facilities of the Indaba Hotel to a targeted market at rates as per policy and parametersensuring maximum conversion of sales calls.• To sell all facilities of the hotel as and when opportunities arise by calling on prospective clients both internaland external.• To assist with the secretarial and administrative work for the banqueting/conventions department. To handlebanqueting, function and conventions enquiries and reservations.Reporting Structure• Will report directly to the Conventions Office ManagerEducation / Training / Experience• Must hold a Matric and /or Certificate, Diploma in Events/ Hotel Management or equivalent• Must have at least 2-3 (three) years experience within same position in 4* hotels• Must be proficient / advanced in OPERA and Excel (Office)• Must have own transport• Must be willing to work as the business requires• Live out position
