(CDM/PLM) Manager

Location: Somerset West
Salary: Market related

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To drive the system design and the implementation of a PLM system within the organisation to realise major productivity improvements across the total Product Lifecycle of the RDM products as well as across the whole RDM organisation.
REPORTING TO : Configuration Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will have proven experience in designing and implementing PLM systems in a Development and Manufacturing organisation. The candidate will have demonstrated leadership, project management and people skills to lead the implementation team and the change management process during the implementation of an organisation wide PLM system over the next three years.

POST REQUIREMENTS:

•B. Engineering / BTech degree (Industrial Engineer) or relevant NQF 6 equivalent qualification.
•PLM best practice implementation.
•Experience in the MCAD/ECAD and PDM environment.
•Understanding of the Military Acquisition process preferred.
•Experience in Siemens 3d Solid Edge drawing package as well as Teamcenter will be an
advantage.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal and client relationship skills.
•Excellent leadership qualities.
•Willing to travel nationally between sites.
•Excellent computer literacy (Windows 7; MS Office 2007)
