The Site Supervisor within Multiplex is responsible for supervising sub-contractors to ensure assigned work conforms to quality, time and safety requirements. The role assists the Senior Site Supervisors & Site Manager in fostering and building relationships with all sub-contractors to ensure project objectives are met. They are also tasked with mentoring more junior members on a project. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
•Supervising and coordinating the tasks and activities of construction workers and sub-contractors to ensure satisfactory completion of works.
•Developing and implementing short-term programs of work.
•Minimizing construction time whenever possible.
•Monitor and review programs to ensure time requirements are met.
•Ensuring materials and labour is called forward in a timely process.
•Manage the rectification of defects and satisfactory completion of work.
•Accurate reporting by sign off of trade claims.
•Check delivery of goods and materials and ensure sufficient quantities are available as required.
•Controlling all site activities and reporting efficiencies, abnormalities, incidents and occurrences to the Building Operations Manager.
•Ensuring timely requests and follow up to requests for information (RFIs).
•Working with the Contract Administrators to provide good communication, project administration and trade relations.
•Directing the Project Laborers (if applicable) in their daily duties
•Consult with sub-contractor and consultants to resolve day-to-day construction and design issues.

Key Skills & Requirements:
•Expert knowledge of building and construction trades.
•Qualifications in building and construction or related fields and Builders License will be highly regarded.
•Proven site experience on large scale commercial projects.
•Specialist skills and understanding of working with structures, steel, finishers, services.
•Strong ability in reading technical drawings.
•A proactive approach to coordination of the project workforce and suppliers.
•Knowledge of OH&S legislation, policies and procedures.
•Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
•Able to work in a high pressure environment.
•PC and tablet proficient.
•Able to work autonomously.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to adhere to safety standards.
•A strong customer focus, high level of numeracy and computer usage skills.
•Attention to detail in supervision.
