Our International Client is a leader in the Renewable Energy industry based in Cape Town. They have an opportunity for a CONSTRUCTION MANAGER to join their EPC Team in the Northern Cape on a Fix Term Contract of minimum 12 months.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
• Minimum tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering;
• Renewable Energy, especially Solar background is imperative;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritising of workload with attention to detail;
• Computer literacy with good numeracy skill;
• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning;
• Self-motivated with a willingness to accept responsibility and challenges;
• Own reliable transport.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• The candidate must Plan, direct, coordinate and budget all activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems
• Participate in the conceptual development of a construction of Solar Farm project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements
