Position: Consumable Buyer

Type: Fixed-term contract

Location: Port Elizabeth

Salary: up to R18,000 negotiable, dependent on experience / skills / knowledge

Requirements:
-Purchasing Diploma / Purchasing Management
- Minimum 2 years experience in Purchasing/financial & stores environment
- Matric
- Knowledge of ISO standards TS16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
- SAP advantageous

Responsibilities:
- Total Value Management
- Stores Management
- Liaison with Suppliers
- Price Negotiations with suppliers
- SAP Management
- Purchasing Management.

The above purpose is to be carried out in accordance with the General Rules of Conduct as well as applicable requirements of the Quality Management System (ISO/TS16949), the Safety, Health and Environmental Systems (ISO14001; OHSAS18001)
