Discover Africa Group is a Cape Town based Online Travel Agency. We own and operate two well established travel brands: (since 2002) and (since 2012). Our websites help thousands of people discover Africa every year.

Our marketing team is a young, dynamic, results-driven group, looking for smart, creative and hard-working people with integrity to join us. We require the skills of a seasoned Content Strategist to join our team with a love for developing strategic, clean and sophisticated content driven by conversion metrics. Understanding how the marketing mix plays together and the value that content has within that mix is vitally important. If you’re the person that spots the grammar issues but understands how to develop and produce results-driven content then this is the job for you.

This mid-level position reports to the Marketing Manager, and will work cross-functionally with both the marketing team and the development team.

Experience:

- 3-5+ years content development experience (in an agency or digital marketing department preferred)
- 2-3+ years content strategy experience i.e. developing content strategy for brands
- 2+ years experience working cross-functionally with other teams such as SEO, design and automation

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, journalism or similar
