Contracts Director (Housing)
An international Construction company is seeking to employ a Contracts Director with extensive housing experience to be permanently based in Johannesburg. The successful candidate should be professionally registered with the SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM), have knowledge of the mass housing market as well as procuring of housing construction contracts in South Africa.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (civil) or Construction Management. A Postgraduate Degree (MBA) will be an added advantage
Must have 12+ years’ experience in procuring of housing construction contracts in South Africa
Must be registered with the SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM)
Must have experience in construction programmes for housing construction projects
Must have management of practical execution of housing construction projects
Must have experience in providing on-site support on Contractual Programmes and implications
Must have experience in managing of business unit strategic goals, legal contracts, financial and commercial as well as site safety compliance and quality assurance
