QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

:

• Minimum Grade 12 and 3 year National Diploma in Mechanical
  Engineering


• Computer literate in MS Word, specifically Excel


• BAAN/SAP experience will be an advantage


• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position


• Read and interpret engineering drawings


• Competent in materials requirement planning


• Effective communication skills


• Attention to detail and work at a fast pace in a pressurised environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Ensure that the commercial and contractual agreements as per
  RSD standard conditions of tender are adhered to


• Ensure that the tender activity schedules are compiled and
  maintained


• Ensure that contracts are in accordance with official tenders


• Ensure that there is comprehensive administration of contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.


• Ensure that program reporting on contractual programme
   schedules takes place


• Ensure that regular contact with customers throughout a contract
  life cycle is maintained


• Ensure that there are constant communication with customers, and
  that necessary negotiation, on all commercial matters arising from
  contracts take place


• Ensure that project configuration management plans are in place


• Ensure that all logistical project-related support plans are in place


• Ensure that all internal processes are expedited and facilitated to ensure timeous delivery of contracts and orders.
