RS Recruitment Services is assisting a company in the Fire Protection Industry based in Westmead,
to recruit a Junior Contracts Manager.

Applicants should have/be the following
Matric/Grade 12 (with Mathematics – an advantage)
Tertiary qualification as a Site/Contract Manager – an advantage
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience with construction ‘on site’ projects/installations.
ASIB (Automatic Sprinkler Inspection Bureau) knowledge/understanding – an advantage.
Experience in the construction/ Fire Prevention/sprinkler industries – an advantage
Computer literate with MS Office (especially excel) and Outlook.
Good communication skills (fluent) in English with a good technical vocabulary
Able to communicate in Zulu – an advantage

Key performance areas:
Oversee installation of fire protection Services (Piping and sprinkler system) installations on site
Organising, planning and prioritising ‘on site’ work
Monitor project’s progress and reporting
Inspection of structures for compliance with designs
Identification and solving of problems in conjunction with design team
Deal with clients
Assist with preparation of cost estimates
Ensure compliance with SHE requirements
Oversee all day to day management of construction project
Will report to and assist the Contracts Manager.
Work accurately and to prescribed procedures of the company.
Understand time-based targets and able to work positively towards achieving these
