Purpose of the Job:
To provide professional contract advice and expertise, encompassing pre and post-contract accountability, responsibility and duties to ensure contractual compliance and adherence to the contracts requirements.

Qualifications and Knowledge:
• BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction management or similar discipline, training to be or preferably MRICS, MCIOB, or above, designated chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. (Post graduate qualification in construction law/ arbitration is preferable.)

Experience:
• Ten years’ experience in a contracting or consultancy organisation,5 years with leading companies in major projects

Job Specific Skills:
• Excellent technical knowledge within authority area disciplines is mandatory and in addition, shall also have good working knowledge of other disciplines in Division.
• Thorough knowledge of industry/international standards, and ability to interpret for specific application within sphere of relevant disciplines.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team environment must be well developed and proven.
• Ability to work in a mentally demanding environment due to the diversity of the work and responsibilities involved.
• Ability to work within the framework of approved corporate policies, procedures and standards. and provide expert advice on a wide variety of technically related matters.
