My East Rand client requires a contracts manager to join their management team.

JOB PURPOSE

To manage and maintain quality service and support within the contracts department, enforce and
ensure operation systems of contracts

DUTIES/TASKS
• Manage the contracts department in Jetpark and Pretoria branch
• Compile Training Needs Analysis for the team
• Clarify team members’ roles and responsibilities
• Conduct performance discussions with staff
• Ensure implementation of Employment Equity
• Monitor and address staff absenteeism and time keeping
• Ensure that supervisors and subordinates adhere to the work processes and procedures
• Track performance of Loaders
• Oversee Rebates – sign off invoices once agreed
• Prepare escalation calculations
• Sign cancellation and credit notes (once investigated if not agreed to what was received upfront)
• Sign all service contracts
• Make changes to terms and conditions of all service contracts
• Follow up on all reports – Queries, not yet loaded etc.
• Assist with contracts where queries long outstanding
• Assist debtors department with queries
• Assist resolve sales staff queries
• Send service rates to sales personnel
• Assist with changes to existing contracts i.e. change min billing etc
• Report on a monthly basis to management
• Assist affiliate companies with paperwork and information if and when requested
• Attend meetings i.e. discussion on new deals, etc

JOB SPECIFICATION
• Minimum educational, qualifications and experience that are required to perform the job competently.
• Matric / Grade 12
• Microsoft office
• Tertiary qualification in Business Management (added advantage)
• Knowledge of commercial contract
• Financial background & understanding cross funding, Billings , discounting, interest rates, Rates of Exchange and Escalations
• Experience in shadowing with different entities
• Be able to work independently
