A Mine in the Northern Cape is looking for a Control Room Operator who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient monitoring and control of the production process by
allocating and managing resources (people and equipment) to attain production objectives.

Requirements include:

• Grade 12/N3
• Valid Permanent Blasting Certificate for Schedules Mines
• Artisan with Engineering Trade Test
• 5 years’ post apprenticeship experience
• Minimum 5 years’ mining/underground experience is essential
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
• Previous experience in Citect SCADA or similar would be beneficial
• Exposure to any Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP/Onkey would be beneficial
