Client based in Midrand is looking for an EE CA(SA) to lead the finance activities and execute all aspects of Financial Accounting, Reporting and Compliance at a managerial level.

Duties: Manage the operational and financial risk, leveraging strong internal controls; assure appropriate controls over accuracy of inventory; monitor the month-end accounting close process; analyse monthly financial statements; monitor all aspects of financial reconciliations and ensure compliance with appropriate policies and procedures; ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS and SOX requirements; ensure full tax compliance (customs tax, VAT and payroll taxes); improve processes; optimize resources; actively participate in new strategies. Minimum requirement: 5 years minimum accounting experience; 3 years management experience; SAP or Oracle knowledge; Ability to manage senior staff; Attention to detail and a sense of urgency; High intergrity, transparency, authority and confidence.
