Conveyancing Secretary
Legal Secretary
Our client is in need of a Conveyancing Secretary to join their law firm.
Responsibilities:
• Taking bond instructions
• Preparing files accurately according to specifications
• Administering and organizing the bond practice
• Attending to Lodgements and Registrations of all Bond Cancellations and Bonds
• Attending to all the Finances related to the bond transactions
• Drafting and checking of documents
• Preparing final accounts and despatching documents to clients
• Liaising with clients, registrar deeds office and internal deeds office clerk/driver
• Conducts deeds and company searches
• Building relationships and networking
• Running and administering own portfolio
• In-depth knowledge of Conveyancing software packages
In order to be considered the following is required:
• Matric Essential
• Legal secretary/ conveyancing qualification preferably
• Minimum of 5 years Conveyancing experience
• Experience with ABSA bank compulsory – bond registration and cancelation
• Full working knowledge of all MS packages
• Experience with Conveyancing packages compulsory
• Ability to type documents confidently with attention to detail
