Job Purpose:
My client requires an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee operations of the business. The COO will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the operational efficiency and financial strength of the business by ensuring the company has the proper operational processes/controls; administrative/reporting and people systems in place to drive sustainable growth


Required
- Proven experience as COO in a services environment or relevant role
- A strong “peoples person” personality who can interact with Clients, suppliers and team
- Knowledge of entrepreneur development and the Amended Codes of Good Practice
- Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development and planning.
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to company mission.
- Strong financial management; IT; HR; risk management and project management skills
- Strong Excel skills re budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, costings
- Process and customer driven with strong business acumen
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics


Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field with Accounting as a major ; MBA a plus
- At least five years of strong operational experience
- At least five years in a senior management role
