COORDINATOR:  OPERATIONAL GOVERNANCE:  AVIATION SECURITY

JOHANNESBURG

What will you be responsible for?

The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Manager Operational Governance will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinate and extract reports from functional system to enable reporting of functional activities. Ensure the resolution of system related issues. Ensure effective system resource levels.

  • Conduct research to assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in functional area.

  • Complete trend analysis through qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. Conduct benchmarks and impact studies on completed initiatives. Conduct feasibility studies in functional area for envisaged initiatives and projects.

  • Respond to request, queries and escalated complaints. Escalate to relevant personnel when unresolved. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and customers to enable high satisfaction levels.

  • Maintain an effective network and timeous communication in area of influence.

  • Build, support and maintain healthy internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organizational goals. Implement remedial action when required.

  • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organizational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.

  • Ensure all source documentation is confidentially maintained, securely stored and filed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

Minimum requirements we would need to see in your cv:

  • The successful candidate must have Diploma in Safety or related field.

  • The candidate must possess 2 – 3 years Safety operational experience supported by 1 – 2 years Supervisory experience with an understanding of Aviation Security policies, practices, procedures, technologies as well as knowledge of quality management systems.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office packages.

  • The candidate must have no criminal record, and will need to adhere to security clearance procedures
