Role Description
Developing copy and content, often in partnership with the Chief Investment Officer, Head of Communications/Communications manager/, the marketing team and designers. • Copy production includes editing, writing and proofing high quality copy for diverse audiences and different channels- in particular digital outputs. • Produce compelling marketing communications content for campaigns across a variety of mediums including investment reports, trade ideas, email, social media, advertising and website content. • Responsible for turning difficult and complex information on financial policy and products into something that is clear, persuasive and original. • The copy should be designed to nurture leads, sell products and tell the brand story. • Edit and proofread marketing collateral as required. • Occasionally writing long-form copy for press releases and investment reports. • Support the team with idea generation, the development of the communication calendar and the conceptualisation of marketing activities and campaigns. • Reporting the impact of your initiatives on a weekly basis to your supervisor

Skills and Experience
• Must have a minimum of a Diploma or Degree in either communications/marketing/journalism/media studies/public relations. • At least two years’ copywriting experience gained in a financial services environment • Excellent written and verbal skills • Experience of writing campaign content for marketing communications • Strong experience writing for different channels (social media, web, email) • Experience writing for diverse audiences in financial services environment • Deadline and accuracy driven in high pressured environment • Speed of execution, without compromising on quality, is essential in this role • Experience in podcasting and CRM knowledge would be an advantage • Be sufficient in independent research • Curious and able to diplomatically question the status quo
