Leading Telecoms Organizations requires your expertise as a Core Voice Planning Specialist.

Position Objectives

• To plan capacity and new technology and co-ordinate all activities associated with the switching infrastructure
• Support switching technologies of Core Networks
• Translate Market requirements into technology design
• Evaluate, coordinate and participate in the implementation of changes to the switching infrastructure (together with Technology Support technicians). Provide feedback to the Network Development Management Team on issues, changes and solutions of the switching infrastructure
• Plan expansion and evolution of the Signalling Network and manage link utilization of Narrowband and High-Speed Links.
• Develop equipment requirements for traffic sensitive switching and interoffice trunk facilities using company and industry prescribed standards of engineering
• Define and optimise routing tables. Work with Network Operations Division to determine if carriers are meeting necessary quality levels.

Qualification and Experience

• Minimum Qualification
• Degree/Diploma in Electronic Engineering/Telecommunications.
• 3 years’ experience in telecommunications industry. 
• Knowledge of switching and signalling networks and different types of traffic dimensioning.
• Good working knowledge of BSS, VAS IN and IT systems required
