My client, a JSE Listed concern, will be requiring a Corporate Finance Associate to join their dynamic team of movers and shakers. Form part of a core function within a fast-growing, ever-expanding company; this is a role to really sink your teeth into, to help you form and grow your career along the sexy side of finance. My client is looking for a BEE CA(SA) with Corporate Finance experience to assist with M&A, from Deal Origination, through to Deal Execution, Valuations, Financial Analysis, Feasibilities and JSE Regulations. Qualification:

CA(SA) – non-negotiable

CFA – advantageous



Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Corporate Finance role

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal

Effective decision-making abilities

The ability to form sound judgment based on solid research and analysis

Highly computer literate



Job Description:

The position will include, but not be limited to, the following aspects of Corporate Finance:

Deal origination – feasibility studies and analysis for investment opportunities

Deal execution – due diligence; administration legal agreements; making recommendations

Research – staying abreast of opportunities, the market and competitors

Valuations – keeping the valuation model accurate by monitoring significant industry changes and constantly investigating investment projections

Financial Analysis and Feasibility – constant analysis of financial data to assist with feasibility recommendations, forecasting and income projections’

Investor Relations – keeping an updated running analysis on competitors, financial metric and differentiation in order to assist with keeping sound investor relations

JSE Regulations – being the watchdog on all areas re controls and compliance, constantly being aware of risk and opportunity, making sound recommendations re compliance and JSE regulation
