A Listed Investment Company based in Cape Town, will be acquiring the services of a Corporate Finance Executive soon. The main purpose of the position will be to take full responsibility of the corporate finance activity as well as management of the department. This position will report into the Financial Director and will sit on their executive committee. If your passion and strengths lie in leading and coordinating all corporate transactions, as well as taking responsibility for the monitoring and reporting of the financial performance of each investment, then this position will be ideal for you.

Qualification:
CFA
CA(SA) / LLB – preferable, but not essential
5 – 7 years’ Corporate Finance experience

Job Description:
Areas of responsibility will include handling all Corporate Transactions (M&A) and divestments, identifying and running with investment opportunities, following through with valuations including quarterly valuation reports as well as semi-annual SOTP valuations, taking full control of the Investment Performance Management, including setting of KPI’s, conducting monthly analysis of investment performance against expected KPI’s, performing GAP analysis where KPI’s have not been met as well as keeping updated with the market by constantly researching competitors and the industries of their investments.
