Purpose:
The Facilities Operations Department is looking for an additional resource to their team as a Frontline Receptionist. This person is required to complete specific daily duties and other ad hoc duties that may arise. The successful candidate is to be a professional individual with effective English communication skills, have a strong service orientation and be a team player. The Frontline Receptionist will be reporting to the Facilities manager and will liaise on a daily basis with the Facilities Operations Team, Executive Assistant and HR and Finance Departments.

Duties will include, but not limited to:
•Manage Front desk Reception and maintain a high level of Professionalism at all times
•Greeting internal and external visitors (including new starters and candidates arriving for interviews) in a professional and efficient manner, directing them to their meeting venue, assisting with their queries and meeting requirements or ensuring they are assisted
•Dedicated in providing the highest standard of customer service
•Security support, Security policies and procedures with regards to visitors completing register when entering and exiting the building, notify Security /FM of any irregularities
•Answering all Incoming calls and directing them to the correct Location, record and relay detailed messages
•Managing dispatch and receiving of packages and documents, recording receipt thereof.
•Ability to settle client complaints and enquiries when required, with tact and diplomacy
•Assisting with booking of certain meeting rooms
•To assist with record keeping of parking registers for staff and visitors
•Assist with information and queries when required

Requirements:
•Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Frontline Receptionist
•Matric/ Grade 12
•Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
•Working Knowledge of MS Office
•Ability to work independently and efficiently in a highly pressurised environment with tight schedules
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Good team player

•Demonstrates initiative and commitment to high levels of customer service.
•Critical thinking and problem solving ability.
•Sound judgement and decision making.
•Excellent interpersonal skills
