RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced CORPORATE RELATIONS CO-ORDINATOR (CONTRACT) for a large national concern – position based in Cape Town.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Diploma / Degree in Public Relations and / or Communications and / or Marketing.
Valid driver's license.
At least five years’ experience in a public relations consultancy.
At least five years’ experience in the communications domain.
Experience within investor relations.
Developing and maintaining effective business relationships with contacts in print, web-based, and broadcast media.
Calendar work, such as communicating interim and annual results which includes managing media and analyst expectations in the run-up to the formal announcement and formulating a positive story around the financial results.
Effectively preparing the businesses spokesperson for media interviews as thought leaders in their respective areas of expertise.
Monitoring, analysing and reporting on resulting coverage.
Manage and maintain the company's reputation and continuously work towards creating and ameliorating goodwill to create a favourable public image and strengthen credibility.
Analyse competitor activity in the media.
Drive a solid proactive public relations plan to garner positive publicity according to the business core focus and positioning.
