Location: Cape Town
Description: A manufacturer in the cosmetics industry requires a Laboratory Assistant to join their team. Key duties will include: daily verification and care of laboratory equipment; reformulation of existing products to improve stability, replace raw materials due to regulatory requirements working; updating of manufacturing procedures for reformulated products; manufacturing of scale up batches products; stability testing of redeveloped products; preparation of all required documentation. All duties will be performed under the supervision of the Research and Development Manager.
Key Requirements: Matric with Science and Mathematics with at least 5 years of experience in compounding of cosmetics or pharmaceutical products. Candidates must already reside in the Western Cape.
Additional Requirements: Self-motivated; team-player; analytical attention to detail; open to learning and self-development; continuous improvement focus.
