Cosmetics Packaging Supervisor (W337)
*Matric, at least three years supervisory experience in manufacturing/pharmaceutical; cleanroom experience*


Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

Description: A cosmetics manufacturer requires a packaging supervisor. This position is to ensure effective supervision of staff by planning, leading and controlling the activities in the packaging department. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and have a keen interest to adhere to the quality standards of the Company. Key performance areas will include: Inventory management; production and planning including batch recons; people management, ensuring targets are met and procedures are adhered to; customer service; equipment management; checking and recording packing and filling reports; ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to; staff training.

Requirements: Matric ideal, Supervisory / Pharmacist Assistant qualification advantageous. At least 3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing/pharmaceutical environment; cleanroom experience essential; experience in dealing with performance management / disciplinary procedures; experience in maintaining Quality standards.

Additional skills required: Strong ability to manage people; daily planning of filling and packing processes; equipment monitoring; problem solving and ability to show initiative; self-motivation; compile reports; MS Office computer skills; numeracy and literacy skills; good verbal and written English

Remuneration: Market related and dependent on experience.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
