A leading Mining company is seeking an accomplished cost accountant to join their financial team. For the successful candidate, some of their duties will include: Coordinate budgets, and 3 year plan, Challenge budget holders against history cost / ratios in order to achieve approved inflation increase percentage, Compile, monitor and produce budget and statements. Amend and produce new 3 monthly budget with input from 3 monthly review meeting, Prepare and submit the 3 monthly budget and replacement capital budget for board approval, Monitor capital expenditure and compile Capex statement for quarterly and monthly capital meetings and submit to supervisor, Monitor and measure monthly budgets within element and process cost and produce variance reports, Update the monthly score card, Compile and facilitate preliminary budgets and capture onto system, Compile capital application in conjunction with project leader, conduct financial justification, process application and load approved capital expenditure on system, Maintain the costing structure on JDE and Compile and maintain ratio analysis for forecasting input.

Qualification: Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics, Diploma / Degree in Cost- and Management Accounting, 4 years practical experience in Cost and Project Accounting in a Plant / Mining environment, Code 08 (EB) Driver’s Licence and own transport, Bachelor of Commerce in Cost- and Management Accounting, Honours: Bachelor of Commerce in Cost- and Management Accounting.
