JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Coordinate cost management of the organisation
- Manage the cash flow and cash management of the organisation
- Prepare budgeting and reporting ? Collect and analyse data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour.
- Determine fixed costs (e.g. rent and insurance)
- Financial analysis and recommendations of cost-effective solution
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
- Performance and systems analysis ? Prepare board and shareholders reports ? Project finance auditing
- Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
- Analysing audits of costs and preparing reports
- Prepare organisational accounts for audits and manage the audit process
- Analysing audits of costs and preparing report
- Prepare month end close of the General Ledger
- Manage and execute monthly payroll and benefits requirements including increase and bonusing processes.
- Assist with adhoc HR responsibilities

Qualifications -
- Accounting degree with articles and 2-3 experience.
- Or CA(SA) with 0-1 year experience in similar role
- Postgraduate Honours accounting with articles and 0-1 years’ experience in similar role

Experience -
- Experience within a manufacturing environment and sound knowledge of Pastel Software will be required.
