Under the management of our Management Accountant, we are looking for a Cost Accountant to monitor manufacturing and inventory costs.

Responsibilities:
Develop Manufacturing analysis reports and analysing variances to assist in identifying and resolving matters:
-WIP Variances (Yield and Cost)
-Manufacturing Cycle
-Through Put (standards per unit)
-Capacity Utilization
-OEE
-Schedule or Production Attainment
-Wastage
-OTIF

-Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory and manufacturing movement
-Verify accurate costs
-Monitoring inventory transactions and ensuring ERP live and accurate
-Implementation and management of periodic stock counts
-Implementation and management of recovery costs within BOMs
-Assist in Month End closing
-Special projects as required

Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices:
-Bin locations
-FIFO
-Lot Traceability
-Expiry dates

-Implementation and maintenance of barcoding system
-Developing inventory analysis reports and analysing variances
-Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory movement
-Verify accurate costs
-Monitoring inventory transactions and ensuring ERP live and accurate
-Implementation and management of periodic stock counts
-Special projects as required

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Cost Accounting (required)
-An understanding of GMP and HACCP
-Is flexible and able to work as part of a team
-Advanced user in MS Excel
-Syspro experience advantageous
