The main purpose of this role over and above normal cost and Management Accountant responsibilities is to:

1. Maintain accurate inventory figures

2. Assist with the cyclical and monthly physical inventory counts.

3. The Cost and Management Accountant will be responsible for the preparation, analysing and reporting on monthly, quarterly and annual inventory costings.

4. Variance analysis, count variance and general monthly reporting will further be required for this role.

5. The Cost and Management Accountant will be tasked with the creation of bill of materials for new products, and the amendments of bill of materials for any changes.

6. Posting of general ledger journals, monthly management reports and actively participating in monthly stock takes will be required of this position.
