Do you have boodles of Debtors experience? Are you creative in finding different ways in dealing with debtors?

Our client is a procurement solutions company with approximately R100 million turn over. They trade internationally and export into Africa. This is an excellent grooming position where you will play an active role in the implementation of costing, profitability analysis and collections.

Qualification:

BCom Accounting

CIMA qualification

Completed Articles preferred

Essential 5 years commerce experience if no Articles

Skills & Experience:

Previous debtors experience & not overlooking the debtors

Must be articulate and able to communicate at all levels, dealing with local and international clients

French or Portuguese speaking would be beneficial

Books to balance sheet for 8 different companies

VAT

PASTEL

Capturing payments on banking platforms for release (local and international)

Job Description:

Key functions will be to act as credit controller and cost accountant

Finalising monthly sales and monthly cost of sales

Analysing job codes and GP percentages

Preparing consolidate GP recap for all group transactions

Issuing debtor statements

Credit control (following up on incoming funds and keeping debtor’s book within 30-60 days)

Following up on outstanding customer and supplier invoices

Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates.
