Qualification:

BTech or BCom in Cost and Management Accounting



Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years working in an Import / Export environment

2-4 years working in manufacturing

Knowledge of AccPac

Checking accuracy of Bill of Materials

Good communications skills, written and spoken

Exceptional Excel skills – intermediate to advanced

Demonstrable management skills and mentoring of staff

Thorough understanding of duty structures, imported products, freight (sea and airfreight) – volumetric compared to actual mass

Ability to understand templates, improving and updating templates with more relevant and current data



Job Description:

Reporting to the Product Director, you will be responsible for one direct report.

You will need to have a solid understanding of foreign exchange and forward cover contracts, as well as a thorough understanding in manufacturing costing models including overhead absorption, machine costs and capacity constraints.

Maintaining data on costing templates to ensure accurate and up to date costings.

General understanding of market related prices and mark up policies to be applied across different category customers and volume business.

Performing price benchmarking.

Ensuring accuracy of landed prices on AccPac.

Analysing costing accuracy after sale and reporting thereof.
