The ideal candidate needs to possess the following characteristics and attributes:
• Matric
• Minimum of 2 years internal sales experience
• Contactable reference
• Any sales training would be an advantage
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to handle work related pressure – meeting of targets and deadlines consistently
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and after hours as and when required
• Good communication skills, interpersonal skills with a Sales personality
• Advanced computer literacy MS Office, Word and Excel
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is a fixed employment requirement within the Group
• In line with Group Recruitment Policy, preference will be given to AA candidates

Job responsibilities will include, but would not be limited to:
• Confer with customers by telephone in order to provide information about products and services to take orders or to obtain details
• Refer unresolved customer grievance to designated departments for further investigation
• Capture accounts on the system and update customer details
• Solicit sales of new or additional services or products
• Capturing of orders and ensuring accuracy of all orders processed
• Participate as required in new product launches and promotions
• Maintain close contact with customers and market place in order to obtain market intelligence on trends in customer needs
• Track customer activity in the market to assist in developing marketing strategies
• Customer information maintenance and control
• Dealing with stock issues and customer queries
• Accurate and effective communication with senior Management, peers and sub-ordinates
• Report to management on the following procedures:
? - Daily reports on Telesales per person
? - Daily on back order maintenance and release
? - Daily buying department on stock outs
? - Daily on products requiring promotion
• Perform any other job related duties requested by Management
