Logistics Account Executive – Cape Town

Salary: R22-29K CTC Depending on experience

Purpose of Position:


To ensure business retention within an allocated base of clients, through continuous growth, innovation and quantifying value thus ensuring client centric relationships are protected.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Visio and Flow Chart
Minimum 3 years client facing sales / client interaction experience.
Previous experience in the courier industry
Own reliable vehicle reflecting professional image and unendorsed Code 8 license.
Ability to work extended hours and overtime when required.
Relationship building skills at an operational, tactical and strategic level.
Communication skills (oral and written).
Supply chain analysis.
Industry Knowledge.
Must be able to work unsupervised and within a team.
Self-motivated and assertive.
Excellent administrative and reporting skills.
Geographical knowledge of South Africa.

Duties:

To protect, grow and innovate the existing client portfolio to ensure sustainability & growth.
To ensure client satisfaction by understanding and managing their requirements in line with service offerings.
To ensure accurate customer invoices are raised, delivered and paid timeously in collaboration with necessary stakeholders.
To formulate and manage the budget and business plan in line with strategic objectives of the company.
To ensure operational KPi’s are met through operational governance and compliance and in line with contractual requirements.
To compile and submit accurate reports on time, in order to offer service excellence for various components of the business (clients, sites, self, etc).
To develop and initiate industries and product relevant solutions and best practise to differentiate us as market leaders.
To effectively interact/liaise with relevant stakeholders in order to achieve five star quality to the client.
