We’re looking for a Creative Copywriter to join our tight-knit team at our office in Bellville. This varied role will require you to create and edit in-store radio ads, educational video-, as well as social media content for a variety of clients.

Your duties will include:

Copywriting

Write in-store radio advertisements based on client briefs
Write, edit and proofread all scripts and copy
Responsible for script quality control
Responsible for all proofreading, editing and re-writing of company documentation
Direct voice artists during studio recordings
Responsible for acquiring approval from clients during recordings

Instructional Design

Write content strategically for learning & development purposes while having the user experience in mind
Write and create innovative content and translate it for digital platforms, on-line advertising, printing and online video content
Interpret project briefs and translate innovative ideas into useful content
Collaborate with videographers, editors and animators to create educational content

Social Media content creation

Collaborate with Brand Strategists and Creative Team with regards to client's social media content plan.
Conceptualize and write creative copy for different social media platforms
Proofread and edit content for social media posts.

Minimum requirements:

2-3 years’ copywriting experience
1 year instructional design experience would be advantageous.
Relevant degree/diploma essential
Meticulous attention to detail when it comes to grammar and spelling
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Updated on industry trends
Able to follow direction and deliver quality product based on the brief received
Creative mind-set
