Main Objective:

My client has an opening for a Creative Director that will be the leading member of the Design department. You will be responsible for leading a creative team of Web Designers, Graphic Designers, Copywriters and Artists. The role includes conceptualizing and planning campaigns as well as supervising the entire creative process. As the Creative Director you will also give guidance and mentorship to team members.

Key Performance Areas:

Oversee and manage a team of Writers and Designers.
Supervise projects and manage creative processes.
Writing and conceptualisation of communication strategies, calendars, and campaign plans.
Ensuring a high digitally aesthetic standard is maintained across all brands, websites and platforms.
Updating status reports.
Focusing on becoming an Industry expert.
Managing brain storming sessions.
Clear understanding of the Online space.
Reviewing the Key Performance Areas of team members together with the Head of Design.

Skills and Attributes Required :

A minimum of 6 years in a relevant/similar role
Honours/Master’s degree - Graphic Design/Digital Marketing (or in a similar field)
Must have worked with creative teams and evaluated creative assets
Familiarity with publication design software
Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively with the creative, product, development, business, and management teams
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
Independent self-starter; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
