Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the creative/
design team and be required to accurately create exciting visual concepts from
client briefs. The creative conceptualiser/ strategist needs to be able to
conceptualise as well as execute rough drafts of concepts and strategies with the
use of graphic programmes such as InDesign etc.

Requirements:

Must be able to work well under pressure and work late to meet deadlines. Ability to
work on last minute jobs.

? Ability to straddle the creative and graphics side of advertising
? The ability to present creative campaigns and lead a client pitch
? Hands on experience in graphics
? Team player
? A comprehensive understanding of marketing, advertising and
communication theory and practice
? Ability to conceptualise integrated communication campaigns across
traditional and “new” media
? Confidence to engage with clients at a senior level i.e. media/marketing
directors
? Understanding of the client/agency decision-making process
? Minimum of an undergraduate degree in marketing and/or communication
? At least 3 years' experience in the media advertising industry
? Must have ability to manage and lead presentations
Advantageous: Examples (portfolio) of “idea-creation” and design skills, advanced
knowledge of Abode Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
Own Transport essential. This is non-negotiable. Applicants without Own Transport will
be disqualified.
Salary is negotiable & depends on experience
