Position: Creative Web Designer with some Development Skills

Area: Cape Town

Salary: R10 000.00 – R 16 000.00

My client is URGENTLY looking for an excellent web designer with SUPER CREATIVE design skills that are way beyond the norm who also has some skills in development. Brainstorming and developing new websites, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with serious passion for creation!

 Educational Requirements:

• Matric


• Relevant tertiary education


• 3 years practical experience

Skills Required:

• Excellent HTML and CSS code skills


• A good understanding of the latest web technologies including HTML5 and CSS3


• Good use of Adobe Creative Suite (minimum CS3) Dream Weaver, Photoshop, etc.


• Comfortable with JavaScript and some of its framework (e.g. JQuery)


• Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization for websites


• Good understanding of the major social media’s like Facebook and Twitter


• At least 3 years of experience working as a web designer/developer


• Development experience is advantageous


• Being able to read and write PHP is a big advantage

Personal Skills Required:

• Good organizational skills


• Attention to detail


• Proactive and motivated


• Ability to speak French a bonus!
