We have an exciting newly created role within our Credit Department for a Credit Analyst. Reporting to the Credit Origination Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective implementation of the credit policy into the origination business processes and systems and the monitoring and analysis of these processes and related KPI’s.

Key Performance Areas

Business process requirements

Engage with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure changes in the Credit policy is implemented in origination business processes and systems
Ensure business objectives and data requirements are met.
Data requirements

Engage with Business Intelligence to ensure data is available in the data warehouse to support effective monitoring and analysis of the origination process.
Reporting

Engage with Business Intelligence to ensure credit origination reporting is available to support monitoring and analysis of the origination process.
Enhance and validate reporting requirements to match business needs.
Process and KPI monitoring

Ensure accurate measurement and monitoring of the origination processes.
Daily, Weekly and Monthly tracking of Credit origination KPI’s to identify issues, opportunities and suggestions
Data analysis and Information presentation

Perform data analysis on request or on own initiative to evaluate the effectiveness of the Credit policy or to investigate opportunities. Analysis to be presented, with findings, to stakeholders.
Credit reporting

Provide input into monthly credit packs to ensure effective visibility of credit origination information.
Project Management

Effective planning and prioritising of own work.
Qualification

Degree in Finance / Mathematics / Statistics
Experience:

Minimum 5 years in a credit related analytical role, preferably in an unsecured loans business.
