Credit Control Manager required for a large Medical company in Alrode

Reporting to: Accounts Receivable Manager Business Organization:
Suitable applicant must be able to manage and maintain the accounts receivable function of the organisation, for all Southern African entities
Provide reliable, consistent and professional services of credit assessment, debt collection, debt recovery and account receivables for the company.
Improve working capital by minimizing bad debt, reducing overdue amounts and balancing credit risk with business opportunities.

We require the following experience:
 At least 5 years credit control experience
At least 3 years experience as a credit manager
Oil and gas industry experience advantageous
Credit management tertiary qualification (Bcom or Diploma or similar)
Valid driver’s license and own transport

Debtors reconciliation experience
Must have previous related integrated ERP system experience
Advanced Excel working experience
Excellent accounting skills

Must have previously done DSO calculations
Must have experience with Exports and Legal
Good understanding of company law, tax, credit and VAT acts
Experience in handling legal aspects of defaulted accounts
Must have dealt with big Credit control department with a large book value and volume of accounts (2000 - 4000)
