Our client is an international freight and logistics company.
You will be responsible for a portfolio of debtors aligned with one or more sales territory. Collects all monies due, outstanding and/or overdue, and allocate payments as per the customer’s remittance, achieves the collection target set monthly, quarterly and or annually and applies the “Make the Call Count” collection methodology, as per the global requirement. They would actively manage and coordinate credit collection for an assigned portfolio of customers in alignment with the company process guidelines and policies in an efficient and cost effective manner.
To actively promote and ensure the company's trading terms and conditions are being adhered to by the customer
To contribute knowledge and expertise toward resolving reoccurring billing issues.
To maximise collection effectiveness from all customers in a timely and professional manner.
To maintain efficient records of collection activities.
To drive debt collection, involve in customer interactions (incl customer visits as deemed necessary)
Matric / Grade 12
Credit Management 1, 2 and/or similar qualification
Full function credit control experience
Previous Express and/or Freight Forwarding credit control experience
Own transport & valid driver’s license
Provident fund paid fully
50% Medical Aid
