One of South Africa's fastest growing neutral consolidators, which has grown to be one of the larger consolidators through providing "World class service levels" to their customers is seeking an experienced Credit Controller. Position is based in Morningside.

Minimum Requirments:
Grade 12
Cert/Dipl specializing in Credit Control
Pastel Essential
Knowledge of Shipshape not essential but would be an advantage

Duties include but not limited to:
Daily importation of invoices from Shipshape into Pastel
Bank recons
Capturing of bank statements
Capturing credit card statements/invoices
Petty Cash and reconciliations thereof
Supplier reconciliations
Daily payments and COD remittances
Supplier/Credit applications
Pivots (Excel

Key attribute’s would include and understanding of:
1) Understanding the shipping/Freight Forwarding industry as well as operational software (Shipshape)
2) Pastel Partner knowledge is essential
3) Proficient in Microsoft Office, essentially Excel
4) Understanding of Age Analysis, Bank reconciliation’s & Cashbooks
5) Ability to interact and meets deadlines, as a team, is key!
