head office in Century City, Cape Town.

Duties:
- Chasing outstanding
payments via telephone and e-mail in order to reduce debtor days.
- Allocating
payments received in accordance with client remittances.
- Processing and
generating reminder letters and monthly statements.
- Liaising with the sales
team to resolve outstanding queries.
- Weekly reporting and account
reconciliations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the debt
collection methodology.
- An assertive but tactful manner.
- Calmness under
pressure.
- An organised and methodical approach.
- The ability to work to
strict deadlines.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Good mathematical skills.

Required Qualifications / Experience:
- The successful candidate will either
have a qualification in accounting, or some previous experience working in a
finance department with exposure to credit control.
